The Valkyrie were the first to recognize the significance of Odin’s sacrifice. In order that the gods might not be forgotten they created an order that stands to this day. They are the collectors of knowledge; the caretakers of ancient tradition, and while they no longer choose the slain, they provide care for and provide for the dead so that they will never be subverted to undeath, and that their souls may rest forever in piece.
The Valkyrie are a particularly difficult organization to be a part of. They expect a sort of residency whereupon you learn the values of the organization and progress through level 4 as a Cleric in the life domain. Afterwards you may adopt any martially-oriented subclass. The most prestigious class among them is the Cavalier — for the Valkyrie are famous for their powerful cavalry.
